Air Quality Update

The Earls Court area now benefits from an air quality monitor installed near the Warwick road tube station entrance on the junction with Trebvoir Road. The monitor measures fine particular matters ( PM2.5 ) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2). The data of the Warwick Road monitor is accessible by clicking here

The monitor has been installed following a successful application by the Earls Court Society Environmental and Highways Group to the Breathe London Programme run by Imperial College London, supported by the Bloomberg Philanthropic Foundation.

There are a growing number of these monitors throughout London. The general aim is to raise awareness of the often high levels of air pollution, the impact it has on health and the changes each of us can make to improve the air quality in our area.

The Breathe London Network is run by the Environmental Research Group at Imperial College London, the same group that runs the London Air Quality Network . The group combines air pollutions science, toxicology and epidemiology to determine the impacts of air pollution on health and has over 20 years of experience running large urban air quality networks.
